1200㎡ French-Style Villa: Crafting a Poem of Elegant Living Amidst Nature

Nestled within embracing nature, Crepuscule Manor is a French-style villa backed by lush mountains to the south, overlooking rolling golf greens to the north, adjacent to Qifeng and Huying Park to the east, and embracing 5,000 acres of golf course greenery to the west. With an elegant and relaxed touch, the designers integrate classical architectural aesthetics with modern lifestyle language, reshaping a life rhythm that coexists with nature and embodies calmness and ease.
Stepping into the manor, stone pillar arcades unfold gradually, with the spatial rhythm gentle yet distinct. The ground floor is defined by arched doorways—carved gypsum moldings converse with the modern language of mirrors and glass, while soft tones freeze the flow of time. The lounge recreates the style of 19th-century salons: dark green display cabinets complement landscape paintings of wild fields, and a red floor lamp stands out from the tranquility, adding a touch of playfulness. In the tea room separated by a flower-adorned screen, oriental simplicity echoes the light and shadow of the courtyard, turning tea-brewing and sitting together into poetic moments.
The dining and kitchen area uses natural color palettes and crystal chandeliers to create an intimate, refined atmosphere. Dark-toned dining sets and mid-century sideboards highlight the delicate textures of utensils; the open kitchen and central island form a circular traffic flow, with dark green cabinets exuding retro elegance—perfect for both solo leisure and small gatherings. Natural light filtered through shutters resonates with the aroma of food and memories of bygone days.
The basement serves as a personal retreat for inner peace, centered around a wine cellar. Black-and-white parquet floors, brass mirrors, and dark green velvet furniture create a mellow, private ambiance. The SPA room, steam room, and sunken bathtub offer physical and mental healing, while the mezzanine gym and billiards area add dynamic energy to the serene space. Expansive white tones and artworks render a quiet yet artistically engaging environment, extending the spiritual dimension of the space.
With its high-ceilinged structure and floor-to-ceiling windows, the 2nd floor draws in abundant natural light, transforming into a living space akin to a family art gallery. Abstract artworks, gold accents, and natural materials blend to create an elegant yet lively temperament within the symmetrical layout. Sunlight filters through window grilles, casting geometric light spots; the curved indentation of sofas, the gradual shift between light and shadow at every turn, and the layered scenery in the distance all become gentle havens for emotions—making tangible the poetry of "dwelling with light, abiding in time."
Bedrooms on the 3rd to 5th floors are more than just places for sleep; they are windows for dialogue with nature. Minimalist lounge nooks, warm-toned private atmospheres, and outdoor greenery complement each other, forging an inner world ideal for contemplation and relaxation.
Throughout the entire space, art runs through every corner—not merely as decoration, but integrated into light, objects, and walking routes, quietly nurturing the aesthetic of daily life. Through spacious dimensions, delicate materials, and restrained decor, the manor reshapes a lifestyle focused on the present and connected to nature, nestled between the city and the countryside. Here, the essence of living lies in continuously responding to oneself, nature, and time—ultimately achieving a poetic dwelling.
